Due to internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen for an exceptional marketing talent to join the Schools Marketing team at NTU. We are looking for an outstanding creative, customer-focused, and enthusiastic Marketing Manager to lead the development and implementation of innovative, sector-leading content and marketing activity for Nottingham Business School (NBS).
NBS provides research and education that combines academic excellence with positive impact on people, business and society. The School is a world leader in experiential learning and personalisation and has an unrivalled level of engagement with business, public and voluntary organisations and is known as the business school for business. NBS is accredited by EQUIS and AACSB, which are internationally recognised hallmarks of excellence and quality for business education
The successful candidate will manage the marketing relationship with Nottingham Business School, working collaboratively across the CAMS team, School team and the wider University, to lead delivery of the annual marketing plan to meet School strategic priorities and enhance the Business School brand across student recruitment, student experience, reputation, research and enterprise.
You will be responsible for developing and effectively managing the delivery of a broad range of marketing activity (e.g. print, web, digital, social media, events) for the School, ensuring the content is timely, engaging, inclusive and relevant to the target market. Excellent communication skills are essential, and the ability to deal with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
You will be passionate about delivering outstanding marketing communications, and have a strong interest in digital marketing. A key aspect of the role will be managing digital content creation, including delivery of engaging web, email and social media copy, digital assets, video and photography, and ongoing website development. A good eye for detail is vital as the role holder will be responsible for ensuring that marketing activities communicate a consistent message, meet brand guidelines, and adopt the appropriate tone of voice for diverse audiences.
Candidates are expected to be creative, resilient, have a positive approach to teamwork, and will ideally have experience of working in a complex environment and the confidence to liaise with stakeholders across the institution.
Candidates should hold a degree (or equivalent) and possess a broad range of marketing skills and experience. A marketing qualification or a commitment to working towards one is desirable.
In this role there is the flexibility to work from home, and to spend time working from NTU’s campuses. The working pattern will be determined by the demands of the role, and individual circumstances, and we are happy to discuss with candidates further.
