We respect and value all our staff, because we know that it takes a strong and diverse workforce to maintain the kind of success we’ve achieved.

Our award-winning research is celebrated around the world, and we’re proud of our strategic partnerships. It’s all down to the ability of our people to shape, create and innovate, in whatever capacity they work with us. Our continued success — underpinned by the number of prestigious national awards we’ve won — has hinged on two commitments: creating excellent global collaborations, and harnessing the talents of all our people.

NTU is a university at the peak of its powers, but we know we can still go even further. Join us in our mission to become ‘the university of the future’ — seize the challenge and adventure of working with an organisation where progress never stops. This is your career, reimagined.

Our CAMS (Communications, Admissions, Marketing and Student Recruitment) team is looking for a UX / UI Designer to help create exceptional user experiences across the university website and other core marketing channels. Reporting to the Senior UX Designer, the role will lead on the development of user centred design, ensuring that consistency, usability and accessibility is at the forefront of all decision making.

The role is highly collaborative and will work closely with web development, digital content and marketing colleagues. Key to the role will be educating stakeholders on the value of UX design, and the impact it can have for business goals.

With in-depth knowledge of UX design principles and an exceptional creative eye, you will be highly skilled in the use of digital design applications and have a solid understanding of how to translate user needs into effortless user journeys.

An excellent multi-tasker, you will have experience of developing digital assets, wireframes/prototypes, curating site information architecture and be an advocate of using data to drive decision making.

This role will be primarily home based with the flexibility to work from home and spend time working from NTU’s campuses. The working pattern will be determined by the demands of the role, and individual circumstances, and we are happy to discuss with candidates further.

Interview date: Thursday 25 November
