This location of this role will based at our Mansfield site, with a need to be flexible to travel to our other campuses as per business demands.

As part of our ambition to create success for all, we have recently announced an exciting new partnership with Vision West Nottinghamshire College, which will see some of our higher education (HE) provision delivered from the College’s £6.5 million University Centre, on the College’s main campus in Mansfield.

Nottingham Business School (NBS) is the largest of Nottingham Trent University’s faculties and one of the fastest growing Business Schools in the UK. Recently accredited by both the AACSB and EQUIS, the School operates with over 5,000 students and over 200 members of faculty.

NBS are seeking a Principal Lecturer to contribute to the School's growing research profile and teach on a range of programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

An exciting opportunity now exists within the School for an outstanding individual to lead new projects that will develop higher education provision in Mansfield. These include undergraduate programmes in business initially at foundation degree level. There will also be opportunity to contribute to the High Level Skills Programme, Priority Skills for D2N2 SMEs and GRADS for D2N2 project, which is part-funded by the European Social Fund to enable SMEs to develop high level skills.

You will have management responsibilities for designated lecturers/senior lecturers, provide academic leadership and course management. You will be expected to contribute to the School's research outputs, for example through journal publication, conference contributions and research grant capture. You will also be required to contribute to a range of modules and should be able to offer one or more of the following specialisms:

Marketing, HR, Operations, Strategy and Enterprise, and/or Accounting.
