We are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to further drive the development of the procurement strategy in support of the University’s strategic ambitions. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Head of Procurement will be the professional lead for the University and will ensure the delivery of a progressive approach to achieving value for money.

As a candidate for this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • extensive procurement knowledge and experience
  • experience of developing and delivering successful procurement strategies that result in improved service outcomes and financial benefits
  • leadership and management of a team of procurement professionals
  • delivery of a customer focussed approach to procurement
  • a track record of exceptional collaborative relationships with suppliers, contractors and colleagues
