The ideal candidate will have served time either as a police officer or member of police staff working within the training environment of the police service.

Candidates applying for this role must have either a police trainers’ certificate or relevant police obtained training qualification or to have attended the national police trainers’ course. The candidate must have delivered to new police officer recruits within the last 5 years to demonstrate their relevance to the subject matter.


The post holder will also support the Principal Lecturer in Policing and International Law Enforcement in their collaborative work with partner agencies and support the academic team with the delivery and assessments for the undergraduate degrees in Policing at NTU.
