The Schools, Colleges and Community Outreach Department (SCCO) advances the widening participation agenda to make higher education a realistic option for a broader range of young people. We have a national reputation for innovation and quality and act as NTU's central coordination service for schools, colleges and community organisations.
We are currently recruiting for a Progression Coordinator to lead the design, delivery and evaluation of the NTU Progression scheme. We are looking for an engaging individual, with experience of delivering innovative learning activities aimed at young people from disadvantaged backgrounds.
The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the issues associated with students’ transition into and progression through higher education, particularly those of widening participation students.
Excellent project management skills, strong communication skills and substantial experience of working with students or young people in an educational context is essential.
