The School Science & Technology is currently seeking to recruit one Assistant Technicians, working in the Technical Team, providing technical support for our laboratories and specialist spaces.

These positions are open to flexible working patterns, as there is scope to work in variable hourly patterns across the week. Duties will include assisting technicians in the provision of services to teaching and research laboratories, such as general cleaning of laboratories, washing of glass and plasticware, replenishment of laboratory stocks and collecting deliveries from our Stores facility, assisting with laboratory set up, preparing basic solutions, maintenance & daily checks of basic equipment. Other duties may arise, depending on your level of interest, and suitable training will be provided.

You will also be expected to be flexible and support colleagues and students in other areas of the School of Science and Technology, as part of a School wide technical team.
