Senior Lecturer In Strength and Conditioning

About the Role

The Sport Science Department is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Senior Lecturer in Strength and Conditioning whose primary role will be to lead and deliver the new MSc in Strength and Conditioning (Sept 2025 start). You will be a great communicator and team player. We are seeking a candidate who has detailed knowledge of Strength and Conditioning Practice (including Exercise Physiology, Biomechanics and Coaching Practice). Experience in leading a multi-disciplinary module and coordinating teaching contributions from academic colleagues is required.

Ideally, you will be research active, have a PhD, and your research will have societal, sport performance or economic impact. The post-holder will be joining sport and exercise scientists and social scientists in the Sport, Health and Performance Enhancement (SHAPE) Research Centre. High-level mentoring is available for all staff.

Additional information: The ideal start date is by January 2025.
