Support our students at every stage of their journey.
Doing things differently.
Enquiry Handling Assistant
£26,712 - £28,047 per annum (pro rata)
Full time/Permanent
About the Role
This role will have accountability for high levels of customer service and working under the Enquiry Handling Team Leader within the University’s Central Enquiry Handling team, ensuring a seamless customer journey and maintaining continual improvements in the service for students, staff and the wider NTU community.
The NTU Enquiries team was set up in response to the COVID19 pandemic due to an influx of calls and emails into the university from student, parents/guardians, and staff contacting the university with an entire range of questions and concerns about restrictions, travel, teaching, isolation, safety etc. It was clear that that we needed a strong, dedicated team to be ‘experts’ on the ever-changing rules and restrictions of the pandemic and to be able to deliver this information professionally and calmly, minimising distress at such uncertain times. As a result of this, the NTU Enquiries team was set up to provide a dedicated service in relation to Covid19 enquiries.
Following its success, the team engaged in helping other service departments around the university. We are able to help the enquirer at the first stage of contact, rather than passing the enquirer on to other departments, making the NTU Enquiries team a fast and efficient service.
For more details, please take a look at the role profile. We'll still consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly.
