Co(l)laboratory Programme Transition Administrator
Grade E (£26,712 - £28,047 p.a. pro rata)
This is a fixed-term role for 6 months. Working days and working pattern to be agreed with individual candidate.
About the Role
The pioneering Co(l)laboratory Programme has an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Programme Transition Administrator, based at our City campus with flexible hybrid working.
The Co(l)laboratory programme is an innovative, eight-year, £5.1 million project supported by Research England and delivered by Nottingham Trent University and the University of Nottingham via their Universities for Nottingham partnership. It brings together researchers, civic and community organisations, and local citizens to deliver meaningful change through collaborative research. Over eight years, the programme will train 50 PhD candidates and 25 research placement candidates in locally relevant, challenge-based research, all guided by the insights and priorities of Nottinghamshire communities.
Joining the busy, diverse, and collaborative Co(l)laboratory Programme team, you will play a crucial role in the next phase of the programme as it sets out to scale up its activity across additional Higher Education institutions.
You will be involved in all aspects of administration, including, but not limited to, liaising with a wide range of colleagues of varying seniority across multiple institutions, organising essential meetings, compiling clear and accurate records of new information and processes, and creating new information resources.
The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus and negotiating skills. You will be a proactive person, able to work under your own initiative and professional judgement, and using your initiative to find solutions to new challenges arising in your role. You will be able to prioritise your workload and to be effective in changing situations is key. Vital to the role, you will possess strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks to ensure that deadlines are met promptly and accurately. You will be an excellent team player with the proven ability to work well under pressure.
The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of using Microsoft Office applications, in particular, Teams, Outlook, Word and Excel.
The fixed term contract is for 6 months to support essential transitionary period tasks.
