About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Director of Digital Operations to play a key role in our Digital Technologies leadership team. With responsibility for technical operational and delivery teams, you will drive a strategic approach to technology operations and service delivery, while contributing to the development of new services and processes.
Bringing a strong technical vision, you will align digital operations with NTU’s strategic plan, ensuring resources are effectively deployed to manage existing services, drive continuous improvement, and support the implementation of new technologies.
You will also play a crucial role in identifying, prioritising, and delivering the Digital Technologies operational portfolio, working strategically with vendors and partners to maximise their expertise and capabilities. Where appropriate, you will help transform IT service delivery through managed service arrangements.
About You
- A proven leader of technical teams, with a passion for technology innovation and significant experience in corporate applications maintenance and development.
- Extensive technical knowledge of process design, service management, and IT operations planning, including experience in developing procedures to support new technologies and applications.
- Strong expertise in project management principles and enterprise-wide technology implementations.
- Up-to-date knowledge of modern technologies and best practices in IT infrastructure, end-user support, and educational technologies.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage individuals and groups at all levels.
- Strong interpersonal and financial management skills, remaining effective and credible under pressure.
- Outstanding organisational abilities, capable of setting priorities and assessing complex information from multiple stakeholders.
- The ability to motivate diverse, high-performing technical teams, ensuring customer-focused and high-quality outcomes.
