Workplace Tutor x 2
£32,397-£37,280 per annum pro rata
Part time/Fixed term contract - 18.5 hours/12 month contract
About the Role
We are looking for two individuals to join Nottingham Business School on a part-time basis to work as Workplace Tutors on our growing degree apprenticeship programmes. We currently offer the Chartered Manager Degree Apprenticeship (CMDA), the Digital Marketing Degree Apprenticeship (DMDA) and the SLA (Senior Leader Apprenticeship).
The primary role of the Workplace Tutor is to act as the main point of contact for learners on apprenticeship programmes. You will lead on and manage a schedule of face to face contacts, visiting learners in their workplace setting to undertake progress reviews or conducting contacts via Microsoft Teams or similar. During contacts you will coach and support learners in both their academic and professional development throughout their degree journey.
You will act as the main link between on-campus academic staff and employers, producing and contributing to reports relating to learner progress, assessing the quality of the workplace learning experience and maintaining records for compliance purposes. You will support apprentices with the development of their assessed e-portfolios which they will build throughout the duration of their studies and you will play a significant role in the assessment process. You will also play an integral role in the management of the employer/university relationship by developing and managing positive relationships with employers.
For more details, please take a look at the role profile. We'll still consider applications even if you don't meet every single one of the requirements, so don't be put off if you don't match them perfectly.
Interview date: W/C 20th January 2025
