This position is a worker contract paid at £11.72 per hour


Are you a positive, enthusiastic individual with a "can-do" attitude? We are looking for a Hospitality Host to deliver exceptional customer service in a friendly and supportive environment at Nottingham Trent University. 

About the Role

As a Hospitality Host, you’ll be part of a welcoming and diverse team, working across our City, Clifton, and occasionally Brackenhurst and Mansfield campuses. You'll play a key role in providing excellent service to our students, colleagues, and external clients, ensuring every interaction is memorable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering amazing customer service
  • Catering to a wide range of clients, including students, staff, and external guests
  • Working flexibly across our NTU campuses (City, Clifton, and occasionally Brackenhurst and Mansfield)
  • Contributing to our vibrant and dynamic working environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with people from all backgrounds
  • A strong sense of teamwork, with the ability to support colleagues and work collaboratively
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills, able to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail, ensuring high standards in service, cleanliness, and presentation
  • Previous experience in hospitality or catering is preferred, but we are happy to provide full training for the right candidate
  • Strong time-management and organisational skills, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, with a rota tailored to suit your availability
